Mira just wants to find her brother. But in a world where it is unacceptable to be anything but Human, Mira finds herself in the middle of a crusade in a town that is held under the Catholic Church’s thumb. In order to find out what happened to Edwin, she must first become a part of something bigger than herself: the fae underground resistance. Having bound herself unintentionally to a djinn, Mira sets off to find clues as to what is happening in this town that her brother called home and finds she is in way over her head.
